Empangeni Shopping Centre MSC Cruise Competition - Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

   • The competition is open to all South African residents with a valid South African passport and identity document.
   • Participants must be 18 years or older.
   • Employees of any store within Empangeni Shopping Centre or individuals employed by anyone at the Centre are not eligible to participate.

2. Entry Requirements:

   • To enter, participants must spend a minimum of R250 at any store within Empangeni Shopping Centre between April 1 and May 15, 2024.
   • Entries must be submitted during the competition period (April 1 - May 15, 2024).
   • Participants can enter by visiting one of the competition kiosks in the Centre, using the tablet provided to fill in the online entry form, or by scanning the QR code and completing the online entry form.

3. Validity of Entry:

   • Entries with incomplete or inaccurate information will be disqualified.
   • Participants must provide accurate and valid contact information for notification purposes.

4. Winner Selection:

   • The winners will be selected through a random draw conducted by Empangeni Shopping Centre or its designated representatives.
   • Three winners will be randomly selected.
   • The draw will take place before the end of May 2024, and the winner will be notified via the contact information provided.
   • Should someone be selected as a winner and once vetted not meet the criteria stipulated within these terms and conditions, another possible winner will be randomly selected.
   • Before the winners are confirmed, they will be required to supply a copy of their valid South African passport as well as their valid South African ID document.
   • Each of the three winners will need to confirm their plus one as well as provide copies of their plus one's valid South African passport as well as their valid South African ID document by no later than June 21.
   • Please note the plus one is not changeable once confirmed.

5. Prize:

   • The prize includes an all-inclusive MSC Cruise for each winner and their chosen plus one, based on the standard all-inclusive package offered by MSC Cruises. For further details, feel free to reach out to us.
   • This cruise excludes drinks and will need to be purchased by the winners and their plus 1.
   • The cruise will take place from November 22 to November 25, 2024.
   • Winners and their plus 1 are responsible for making the necessary arrangements with their place of employment for time off if applicable.
   • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.

6. Transportation:

   • Empangeni Shopping Centre will provide transport from Empangeni to Durban Harbour and return for the winners.
   • It is the responsibility of the winners to ensure they arrive on time for the transport provided. Latecomers will need to arrange their own transportation.

7. Publicity:

   • By entering the competition, participants grant Empangeni Shopping Centre the right to use their name and image for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
   • Winners agree to provide photos and/or videos from their time on the MSC Cruise as part of the competition agreement, which will be uploaded on the Centre’s social media platforms.

8. General Terms:

   • Empangeni Shopping Centre reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.
   • Empangeni Shopping Centre's decision on all matters related to the competition is final and binding.
   • Empangeni Shopping Centre is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries.
   • Empangeni Shopping Centre cannot be held liable for any incidents occurring during transportation to the harbor, while on board the ship, or during the return journey to Empangeni.

9. Privacy:

   • By entering this competition, entrants agree to receive marketing promotions and communications from Empangeni Shopping Centre. By participating in the competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Empangeni Shopping Centre reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
